We believe in people power and learner partnerships fueled by the values and embodied practices of empathy and compassion, respect, personal and social responsibility, justice, self-awareness, engaged and loving action, embracing diversity and conflict to explore and invite in our collective wisdom. As such, we hope to provide educational settings where students and educators can be comfortable with and confident in who they are; where they feel empowered to become who they strive to be. By implementing culturally responsive teaching practices into our classrooms we work to eliminate systemic inequalities in our higher education institutes, making instruction more inclusive and equity-minded while creating learning spaces that value and embrace diversity, foster inclusion and engage students in authentic ways.
